Must be time for another update!
I’ve been having fun with art lately. Between tattooing, tees, and comics, I feel like my styles been expanding in every which direction. If you’ve stumbled here looking for my tattoos, I’ll be sure to make a section for that soon, but in the meantime you can visit my facebook or instagram @cuttybage. Meanwhile, check out somethings I’ve made!
I threw this design up for sale in my big cartel store. You can get it customized with a logo on her tee as well! Check it out.
Available with black background too!
Haven’t updated this place in quite some time! Hope everything’s been well with you out there in the world. Things have been fantastically busy here, been cranking out lots of art, learning new things, preparing for a whole new portfolio next year. Here’s some peaks at some things I’ve made recently!
Got the opportunity to do another of Albuquerque’s Alibis! They wanted color this time, and while I usually prefer single color, I had a blast doing this. More color pieces in the future maybe, hmm?
I recently got to do some artwork for the awesome dudes in HOVERBOURD! They let me hang out for the whole recording process, even made me do some gang vocals with the rest of the West Indies. Recorded by the amazing Howard Wulken at Albuquerque’s The LAB. Go give it a listen at their bandcamp!
A lot of love went into these suckers. Each one was hand cut, folded, glued. These versions are limited to 50, and each one has a totally unique doodle on it by me or the fantastic Rachel Abeyta. You can order a digital download now, or a physical version soon on their bandcamp, I’ll even customize it for you!
Some friends wrote a play, so I put a thing together for em. Something quick and different for me, super fun!
Whos that handsome guy on the cover of this week’s Alibi?
As a lot of you know, a huge inspiration and friend passed away yesterday. Its been hard to find the words. Kory was an incredible person, positive, caring, kind, dedicated. A completely original artist with a style all his own. We even started a collab once that it absolutely kills me to say we’ll never finish, the collab of the century he said. Gonna miss you, man.
He was one hell of a strong dude, and his positivity and dedication are going to stick with me forever.
Anyway, you can help support his family through this tough time by going to his website and picking up a tee, hat, stickers, or print. Its a good cause, and you get sweet gear. Spread the word. http://skummie.com/
